Project Description: The Drug Discovery Makerspace is a facility within the UCB Drug Discovery Center that enables students to get hands-on training in “bench to bedside” translational science to develop novel therapies and diagnostics. Funding was provided support robotic and computational infrastructure dedicated to student training and training activities. Students will gain highly marketable skills useful in obtaining high-profile internships and positions, which is particularly beneficial for URM and disparate student populations.
