Sponsorship Acknowledgment

Crediting the Student Technology Fund (STF) clearly is a requirement of receiving funding.  STF support is entirely composed of student fees.  Acknowledging that the STF is a/the source of support for your project supports transparency into how student fees are spent.  It also demonstrates that your project was selected by STF's student-led Committee for their investment.   

Please see the below ways that STF can be acknowledged and keep in mind that STF may reach out to you with specific requests around recognition.

  • Add the STF logo or “brought to you by STF” in the credits on any apps, on software download pages, and at the end of webcasts, videos, etc.

  • Name STF as a source of support in any earned media coverage

  • Name STF as a source of support in any STF-funded job postings
  • Hardware and Technology
  • Equipment Acquisition
  • Affix a “Funded by STF sticker” to each device purchased with grant funds.  Email techfund@berkeley.edu to request official STF stickers.

  • For devices with screens - Add the STF logo as part of the display background

  • Name STF as a source of support in any earned media coverage
  • Investigative and Planning Projects 
  • Technology Events
  • Add STF logo to relevant collateral such as programs, websites, banners, etc.

  • Name STF as a source of support in any earned media coverage

  • Name STF as a source of support in any STF-funded job postings
  • Training, Support, and Access to Technology Programs
  • Add a sign or standing display that states that the service is  STF-funded
    List STF as a source of support in any job postings funded by the STF
