Project Description: The Jacobs Institute for Design Innovation is Berkeley’s interdisciplinary design hub serving over 1,200 students per semester across multiple departments. The funding for this program was used to purchase mobile robot arms that are instrumental in teaching students the foundations of robotics, and usher in programmatic changes through the creation of workshops, instructional materials, and would be available for faculty and coursework.
