Project Description: Cognitive Science attracts students from diverse backgrounds and majors to learn more about the brain’s complexities. This project will acquire state-of-the-art EEG equipment, providing (1) the first offering on the UC Berkeley campus where students learn to directly probe the brain’s electrical signals through a new neuroscience laboratory course, and (2) related opportunities for undergraduate research theses. This greatly expands campus training in fundamental neuroscience skills required compete for graduate programs, industry & research positions.
